Snow much fun ahead!
The Winter Whiteout Court Volleyball Tournament is bringing the heat to the heart of winter! Whether you’re diving for gold or just here to chill and rally with friends, this one-day tourney is the perfect way to shake off the winter blues. Let’s bump, set, and spike our way through the season.
🏐 Skill Level: Recreational & Intermediate
📍 Location: Ecole Mosaique and Halifax Grammar School (both locations are subject to change) - teams will play at one location all day.
⌚ Game Time: All teams are guaranteed 4 x 30-minute games during the tournament.
🕧 Start Time: 10am (start time can change based on the number of teams registered)
🗒️ All HSSC Court Volleyball League rules apply - Minimum 2 men & 2 women.
👚Tournament Champions will win Championship T-Shirts and bragging rights!

Play soccer and meet new people in East Hants this season! Players will get to play pick up style 7-on-7 turf soccer every week while enjoying this casual and social style of play! Soccer balls will be provided on site.

Explore some of Halifax's best trails with HSSC.
The variety of landscapes, scenery and terrain includes lakeside trails, coastal cliffs, serene woodland and secluded coves, and to top it all off, there’s no shortage of breathtaking views!
Hiking locations are within a 40-minute drive of Halifax, but times may be more depending on where participants live in relation to the trail. Access to a car or carpool plan prior to registration is recommended.

🎾 Join us for Tennis Instructional - a weekly 55 minute skills class for those new to the game of tennis, or looking to improve on basic skills.
⭐ You will learn the five most important tennis strokes: forehand, backhand, serve, volley, and overhead. You will also learn the basic rules and scoring for tennis so you can play games right away. And you’ll have fun in a dynamic group environment.

Join us for our first turf soccer league at BMO Soccer Centre in Halifax!
Playing indoors in the spring and summer has a lot of advantages including no rain outs (a great idea in Halifax)! We are offering one spring and two summer sessions of our turf leagues at BMO Soccer Centre (stay tuned for the summer session registration) - feel free to sign up for one or pick which part of the spring and summer works better for your team!
This league is mixed gender and teams are required to have a minimum of 2 men and 2 women on the field at all times.
You can register three ways with HSSC - As an individual, as an individual with friends, or as a team! Don't miss out as these leagues will sell out fast!

⚽ EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: Each team is required to bring 1 size 5 soccer ball to each game.

All Sport & Social Club sports require equipment. Sometimes equipment is provided onsite, and other times you will need to bring your own equipment. For some sports, you can rent equipment from us. Click out the list below to see if rental equipment is available.
The following sports have rental equipment options (that means you can bring your own or choose to make a refundable deposit and rent the equipment from us):
Dodgeball (two dodgeballs) - $100.00 refundable deposit
Kickball (one set of bases, one kickball) - $100.00 refundable deposit
Flag Football (team flag set, six cones, football) - $100.00 refundable deposit
Softball (set of throw-down softball bases, catcher's mask, three softballs, cones) - $100.00 refundable deposit
Outdoor Field Soccer (one net, one soccer ball, six cones) - $250.00 refundable deposit
How the equipment rental works? Click "individual" to see the equipment options. Then make a refundable equipment deposit using your credit card. You’ll get to borrow the equipment from us for the season*, and when you return it, we will give you a refund of your equipment deposit.
Not sure if your team needs equipment rentals? If you are an individual registrant (playing with others you have not yet met), please take the time to connect with your teammates through your Team Forum to find out if equipment is needed. Then nominate one member of your team to make the equipment deposit and pick it up at one of the sessions indicated below.
*Dodgeball, Futsal and Flag Football equipment is provided for individual teams to use for the season as part of their registration.
*We ask that players return equipment rentals at the next season's Equipment Pick-up / Drop-off Session. Equipment that has not been returned within twelve months of the rental will be considered owned. No refund will be available after this time.
