This league is mixed gender and teams are required to have a minimum 3 males and 3 females on the diamond at all times. HSSC softball games are played for 75 minutes.

Locations include (but are not limited to): John MacNeil Elementary Diamond, Maybank Diamond, Lakeside Community Centre, Halifax North Commons, Graves Oakley Park Diamond, Superstore Field Diamond, Rockingstone Heights Diamond.

Game times will be shifted earlier starting mid-August to accommodate the earlier sunset time.
